Privacy Policy
What we collect
- What you provide: a name or label you enter, and the answers you give during the interview.
- Generated data: the competency report we produce, and basic interaction signals such as how long you take to answer (used only to assess answer authenticity).
- Contact form: if you message us, your name, email, and message.
We do not ask for sensitive information, and we ask that you don't include it in your answers.
How we use it
- To run the interview and produce your report.
- To generate a shareable report link at your direction.
- To operate, debug, and improve the service.
- To respond to you if you contact us.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
AI processing & third parties
To conduct and grade the interview, your answers are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for processing. We also use an email provider to deliver report notifications. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms; we share only what's needed to provide the service.
Storage & security
Your interview data and report are stored on our server (located with our hosting provider). We restrict access and take reasonable steps to protect your information. Beta note: at this stage data is not yet encrypted at rest and reports are not identity-verified — we'll update this policy as those protections are added.
Retention
We keep interview transcripts and reports for as long as needed to provide the service and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete or de-identify them. You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see below).
Cookies & analytics
Rexe uses no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking. With your consent, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand which pages are useful: it loads only after you click "Allow" on the cookie banner, runs with IP anonymisation, and is governed by Google Consent Mode (analytics storage stays denied until you opt in). You can decline and the site works fully. Your interview answers are never sent to Google Analytics. We also use minimal local storage to run the interview in your browser.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Email hello@rexe.au and we'll action it within a reasonable time. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves; the "last updated" date above will change. Material changes will be highlighted where practical.
